Wisconsin’s “Jump Around” Voted Greatest College Football TraditionPosted: November 27, 2012
Congratulations Wisconsin fans. Jump Around has been voted the No. 1 game day ritual in the “Sports Illustrated College Football Traditions Bracket” presented by LG. Throughout the 2012 College Football season Sports Illustrated has given fans the chance to weigh in on 16 best game day traditions. The blaring of House of Pain’s famous song at the beginning of every fourth quarter at Camp Randall beat out traditions from schools including USC, Ohio State, West Virginia and Notre Dame.
Fans were able to visit SI.com to choose their preferred tradition via a bracket ranking. Consumers who voted also had the opportunity to win a trip to the winning school’s tradition. Sports Illustrated and LG also brought the College Football Traditions platform on the road with an eight stop mobile tour going to electronics stores throughout the country to allow fans to vote in person.
